Holy shit! I just finally got around to watching that. This guy ACTUALLY presents a CIRCULAR ARGUMENT as a GOOD THING! I am honestly bristling with acute disbelief.Wheel of power LMFAO. Funny how some religious people make the best case for atheism
It's awesome, isn't it? Especially the little hesitation near the end of the video when he does not know how to continue his (so-called) argument - maybe it was dawning on him that the whole thing did not make sense? Nah, sadly he probably just had trouble remembering the three steps :laugh:Holy shit! I just finally got around to watching that. This guy ACTUALLY presents a CIRCULAR ARGUMENT as a GOOD THING! I am honestly bristling with acute disbelief.
Here's a hint to anyone who might actually want to try this: If someone stares at you for a few seconds, then laughs uproariously and walks away shaking their head, you haven't actually won.
I think everyone already knows water still is on mars? There WAS water on Mars. And soon they will find fossils too. Smoke that in your creationist pipe. :cheeky4:
Curiosity rover’s Mars landing site was once covered with fast-moving water, NASA says - The Washington Post
Not really. The polar caps are almost certainly CO2. That's why they completely disappear in summer, despite temps that we'd consider subarctic.I think everyone already knows water still is on mars?
Such a scientific answer. Science is about assumptions lolNot really. The polar caps are almost certainly CO2. That's why they completely disappear in summer, despite temps that we'd consider subarctic.
We think there may still be subsurface water. We certainly hope so. But "know" is too strong a word.
Nnnnoooooooo.....Such a scientific answer. Science is about assumptions lol
That's actually not true. Everything we "know" about the "known" Universe are based on a set of assumptions. Regardless people fighting over Religion and Science is ignorance to me. pure ignorance. Not calling anyone ignorant here, just staying my honest point of view.Nnnnoooooooo.....
Science is about testing assumptions. Everything is provisional and assumed to be true only to the extent that observation and experiment supports it. Religion is about assumptions and declaring them to be true then burning anyone who questions.
Yeah I'm the epitome of an Indigo. Your point is true, but from the fact that reality is what you make of it. How one experiences reality is just as real as how you and I or anyone else for that matter, experience reality. There is no one truth.Basically anyone can say anything and declare it as truth. It all depends on how much time, resources and money the other person is willing to spend to find out if that declaration is indeed true.
Are you indigo? I may be more of an ultramarine myself.
