Okay so I really want a new snowboard and this one is on sale but my only concern is the size. I'm 6 foot tall and 140 pounds and I want to use the board for all mountain. Would that be crazy or what? How much does height relative to weight matter with snowboard size? THANKYOU

155 will be just fine for you with that board. Its stiff with some camber outside the bindings. If it was a soft rocker then that change my opinion.

Thanks for your reply! Really calms my worrys. Do you think a 156 Rome postermania would be too flexy for all mountian? Those are the two boards I've narrowed it down to. Also, would the agent rocker be to stiff to butter on? Sorry for assault of questions.

What kind of ride are you looking for? the agent rocker will be more aggressive and better at high speed. The Postermania will be more playful and buttery or loose feeling. It all depends on your style and what your wanting.

You will still be able to butter the agent, it will just take a little more muscle but it is very doable! :thumbsup:

Hey guys,

Did not want to create a new thread so I just picked one close to my purpose.

I am about 6ft and weigh 75kg (~165lbs). I have been looking at a crc board for a bit more of flex and playfulness. At the moment the Agent rocker is at the top of my list.

I have a 157 full camber Nitro Blacklight for groomer days at the Alps. The Nitro line offers the Team gullwing that seems somewhat similar to the Agent rocker specs wise (both slightly stiffer than medium slightly directional, though the Team also having a bit of set back).

The thing is I would like a shorter board and the Team gullwing 152 max weight recommendation is 70kg, but for the 153 Agent rocker 75kg. This might be splitting hairs, but do you guys think there is a more than slight difference after all? Say, is the Agent a bit stiffer so it would hold out with my weight a bit better? Or could it be due to the sidecut or other profile parametric? I tend to think its just what the company feels would work..

I have a mid flex 152 full rocker (1510 Dealer) that holds ok on small slopes, but I wouldnt even think of bringing it to a scale the Alps offer for instance. Both of the aforementioned candidates would most likely work much better in any condition.

Overall a nice forgiving/playful but stiff enough complement for the Blacklight would be cool. I like the pop and preciseness of the BL but am not an expert and tend to land a bit imprecise occasionally on those 360s and what not...

Other recommendations are welcome! Though the likes of Lib C2blahblah and Burton Flying V -boards are just too expensive here. Reasoning for the price difference would have to be quite solid.

you're good with 75kilos on 70kg board. For example, my 159 salomon the mans board is rated up to 185 pounds (85kg) and my friends 159 k2 happy hour is rated up to 210 lbs (95kg), but my salomon is stiffer than happy hour. So imo, that 5 kilo difference is nothing. If you are good with camber profile, stiffness, graphics and price - don't worry about that weight recommendation.

Any other parameters you think other models offer over these that I should take into consideration in a CRC-board? Indeed the cheaper options arent as stiff which, in my understanding, do not offer a good equation with a short length.

How about dampness? I read somewhere that the Agent rocker is adequately damped without sacrificing liveliness (quite the cliche in reviews though) for what it is. I take it something like Lib TRS would be even damper, but for what Im looking for, it might be too much a board and the Blacklight is already pretty awesome for charging.
