Where'd you plan to go?

I would have considered doing the same, but I booked my lodging as an Express Deal. Got a great price,... but it's non refundable! So I'm stuck.

Still,.. looks like Ill be luckier than some. There will be snow,... and it will be on the ground! With the nights being cold enough that sometime between first chair & noon(ish) or so, the snow should be fairly ridable.

Prolly be icy AF for 1st chair, and turn to mashed taters or moguled push piles by noon or so.

Then again,... cuz of the marginal weather, maybe I might have the place all to myself! That'd work !! Lol

Hope you get to ride. If not, save the $$ for a late season dump trip. We usually get one of those when the season's been this shitty! ;)

Just had had to cancel a trip we had planned to hit Scotland's areas leaving Sunday because.... wait for it... it's going to be too cold and possibly too snowy... in southern fucking England... at sea level. I can hardly believe it.

The weather geeks are talking about a once in a lifetime event. I just hope it doesn't fuck with my trip to the Dolomites on the 8th otherwise I may very well explode.

*Edit lol I didn't realise what sub forum this was in. Looks like we might have Canada rivaling negative temps though. Brrrrrrr.

Spent last week at Sun Peaks BC.
Powder 3 of 5 days and gorgeous bluebird the other two days.

Arrived back here in Ontario Tuesday morning to monsoon conditions.

Feb started amazing, now like you said, it's turning into depressing rain - filled premature Spring to the utmost :(. Only slight consolation is I'm recovering still from an injury last week so haven't been able to ride all week either way, but the forecast isnt looking promising at all.

I haven't seen a temperature without a negative in front of it since a few odd days mid December...

I love all my Vancouver friends showing me their giant snowstorms. We rode last night in Ellicottville, ANY and it was slush and water. Omfg. Walking at the bottom of the chair is like slushsand. You step and you sink then you start to feel the water seeping into your boots. Kids were swimming in puddles with skis on. OMG. Still had fun dodging the mud.

Definitely a shitty overall season here in CO. I'd be all for it warming up and let's just go to mountain biking season already if we didn't desperately need the moisture. Gonna be a dicey fire season if we don't close out the season strong. We need some April/May dumps. Here in the foothills, mountain biking season pretty much never stopped. We haven't had enough snow to shut down most of the trails for long below 9k feet or so,
