So,
I'm looking for new music to listen to when I'm shredding, something along the lines of the Art of Flight soundtrack. I think it's f'ing awesome. Any suggestions?

Levels by Avicci, X You by Avicci, Penguin by Avicci, High School Art Class by Pretty Lights, anything by glitch mob (look them up they're so good. Fortune Days, Animus Vox, We can make the world stop are all really good), Some Chords by Deadmau5. That's all pretty good.

The Glitch Anthem by cryptex. If you want anymore i'll tell you.

I like that soundtrack too, here's some the songs I like to listen to while riding..

Silverson Pickups - Booksmart Devil, Lazy Eye
The White Stripes - Dead Leaves and Dirty Ground, Seven Nation Army, Offend in every way
The Pixies - Hangwire, Hey, Monkey gone to Heaven, Where is my mind
Arcade Fire - Suburban war
Metric - Blind
Modest Mouse - Alone, Karma Payment, Cowboy Dan, All Night Diner
MGMT Kids, Time to pretend
Beck Devil's haircut, Cold Brains

I bought the Naked and Famous album, great band but only liked a couple songs.

Etc.. etc

You and I have very similar music tastes, that is when I'm not listening to punk. I am a massive White Stripes fanatic and I listen to all of those bands with the exception of Metric and Arcade Fire, which I will now have to check out.

For the OP, Bass Drum of Death has a couple of ragers that make nice riding music. One song of theirs I like is Get Found and another I like is Velvet Itch.

I'm also a super fan of Jay Reatard, too bad he O.D.'d so young. Fuck!

Try some of the older stuff like Spirtualized (maybe On Fire from Let It Come Down) or some older Sigur Ross.

I like some heavier dream rock for shredding music than that whole new wave revival like Naked and Famous and Deadmau5 came up with. Seems like prog rock from the late 90s y 2000s is more marrried to grunge than pop or electronica.
