Who has had them?

Last nights was the best.

Here in Denver Colorado, when the snow is falling in the Mtns, and you get that anticipation "feeling" of going up tomorrow, knowing it will rock.

That was my dream, anticipation. I knew the snow was coming, anticipation, I was preparing for the pow day anticipation, I started going up the mtn anticipation. Got to the hill, anticipation..... getting my boots on, knowing I had to work that night, everything........

then I woke up to my summer bliss.......

it was rad....bought some more gear last night for my girlfriend...must have been it. Bought more stupid shit today too...lol

I think that there's a lot of crap sold in lieu of snowfall.

Meh, I am down for the season to get started, but not really in a hurry. I quit riding in Mid June and probably should have ridden into July.

Funny how everyone gets excited for and crowds the white ribbon of death. Which sucks. Come April and May when some of the best conditions are available, hardly anyone is around and the riding is stellar. I'm going to enjoy late Summer-Fall sports and hope the snow holds off until early November and makes it one to remember.

I'm at a local shop right now just hanging and sharing storys and "anticipating" our first chair lift of the season. I can not wait to strap in!

This is my favorite thread by far! Lets hope it doesn't get ruined by certain people.

Can't stop purchasing new things as well, every time I visit a site and see a closeout on an item and its like 70% off I'm like must buyyyy. I have boots, goggles and pants coming tomorrow. Another pair of pants and jacket coming Wednesday and another pair of pants and jacket coming Thursday. But I bought it so I'm really gonna have to force myself to use it, like put on a different pair of pants and jacket every day I go just because it would be a shame if I didn't at least use everything once. And I still have 3 months till our season starts @[email protected]

On top of all that shit I just bought I have 5 different bookmarks with pants/jackets I'm contemplating buying. :dizzy: I don't even want to know what's going to happen when Black Friday/Cyber Monday/SkiDazzle rolls around, my bank account is capable of handling all the charges; it's my closet I'm worried about lol.

I've actually kept a pair of snowboard pants/jacket slung over my desk chair in case some freak summer snowstorm arrives and I can just grab and go. >.>

haha... the guys in the shops here just look at me puzzled saying "It's summer, how can you think of snow right now!?" whenever I turn up, eagerly asking about the new gear that's coming. Need to patiently wait another month :blink: No single Venture split available in the entire country... want to buy some bindings, and a split n bindings… and want to look at the stuff! NOW! :laugh:

I feel autumn coming closer. I've this morning rite having a coffee on the porch every day. Sun stays noticeable low again, it’s already getting colder, need to wear a jacket. One tree in the wood I look at has already changed its color :yahoo: Facing a long season this year… very stoked.

This past week in St. Louis it was in the low 50's over night. I didn't get any dreams but I did get the feeling. I started thinking of what gear I want and what trip I want this season. It will be 88 today. My season is still far far off. Oh well, more time with my new motorcycle.

Haha... Even if taking all the clothes/shoes/handbags and all the other "girls" stuff together I bought in my entire live, this will by far not reach the amount I've spent on sports gear only within the last 5 years (and I DON'T count the horse as "gear"!).

I was at Dick's last night buying fall softball gear for my daughter, and they were just starting to hang the boards for the season... :yahoo:

Amen, I wakeboard and wake surf quite a bit and I am always thinking of snow. Bikinis are pretty nice tho:dizzy:

Plunked down $700 for Epic today and snagged an NS Cobra in July.

Yeah, I'm pretty much jonesin' hard at this point.

Solid logic. I prefer separate accounts. 15 years and no issues in marriage
