Im looking to buy some snowboard pants again this year, my last pair where some Burton white series and have lasted very well and have never left me with a wet ass. i would have but well over 200 days boarding in them but now they are tired and looking to retire them.

i'm looking for some quality pants with high level waterproof and breathability, color and style secondary behind function and comfort. at the moment my shortlist is small (burton AK series, most likely stagger. and 686 smarties) i'm sure there are some companies out there making great gear and would like to know what you guys are using.

I would definitely recommend the 686 smarties. I just got a pair about a month ago so I can't tell you for sure how they hold up, but the reviews on them are extremely solid. They have a waterproof/breathability rating of 15k/15k so you should be fine there. They have a removable liner which is cool for just wearing around the house for casual sweats. They make the pants really warm with them in and a little bit cooler with them out. The material feels fantastic. It's got a bunch of great little features too which include: a lot of pockets (many of which are zipped), velcro adjustable waistband, the liner zips in and out, waterproof seal around the boots with velcro covered hole at the bottom of the gaitor to be able to adjust boa dial without removing this seal, and a bunch of other stuff. They also have some cool colors. I got cyan which is pretty much bright sky blue. They run really big. I'm 5'9 155 lbs and got the small. They fit perfectly with even a little big of bagginess to them. If you're a bit bigger, go for the mediums, if you're huge check out the larges.

3. now you have ziptech and you can get a Volcom jacket for extra awesomeness.

4. shred.

Already got a volcom jacket. Never seen much on their pants though
Well you should have a zipper on the back waist of your jacket, get some volcom pants, it has the other half of the zipper - you're dialed.
