Hey, I just wanted to see if this chip on the top edge of my board requires a repair. This is my first board I've owned and whilst I'm not bothered about cosmetic damage; I just want to ensure its nothing more serious. Thanks in advance
So after cleaning it of any debris, I should then apply the epoxy/resin to the chipped area. Will I need to sand it after its set or is that all? Sorry for the questions, just want to make sure it's done right
You can sand it if you want but that's purely cosmetic. Just do a tidy job when you apply and you should be sweet. All you're doing is preventing water from getting the the wooden core so as long as that happens you're all good.
Thanks for all the tips guys I'll get on fixing it
