UUhhhh if you live in Canada why don't you get it checked out?
Fractures are usually to deal with (Exceptions of course) If you have pain regardless of movement, Pain while you're lying down, or completed at rest/night. I would start leaning more towards a fracture.
I mean you could always just tap around the area with your finger, if it hurts a lot it's more likely a fracture.
Keep in mind stress fractures are only seen on X-rays when they get REALLY bad. CTs or an MRI is needed to accurately see it. A lot of times it won't change the treatment protocol, which is rest for 4-8 weeks, maybe even a walking boot cast
