go to belleayre instead. good mountain and no crowds. not even on weekends from what i remember. no clue about bars. it's pretty isolated in that area. poughkeepsie is pretty cool if you go there on your way back. check out The Chance. they always got something going on. The Loft is right near it too. it's a small little dive bar but it's pretty cool. Nuddy's bar and grill is right there too.

been to belleayre. its ok. wanted to try something different. did you dislike plattekill?

I have never been to belleayre but I used to go a lot to hunter and windham before I discovered Plattekill. It is a great mountain. Not an ideal place for apres ski. I brought my own booze and food I go so I didnt try the lodge.

that's great to hear man. i have heard the bar on the mtn is actually not too bad. kind of a cool vibe.

how would you compare it to those other two? i cannot stand either one, mainly due to the crowds.
