Square shapes in the base

Hello to all,

I wanted to know if it was normal to have such sapes in the base of the board.

Rome and Rome's distributor in Switzerland assured me that it was probably where the labels were located and that the effect was only visual and due to the glue.

Yet even after waxing the board, the shapes are still there.

What do you think about it?

Thanks in advance.

It's exactly what Rome and their distributor told you. Theres literally nothing to add.

Does look like the whatever the sticker left residue that causes the wax not going into the base.
Did you try to clean the area before waxing?
If anything, it looks cosmetic and doesn't really matter.

It’s that simple for sure!
I wouldn't be surprised that with a few months usage this mark will blend invisibly away. More than likely the board whilst on display had light slightly discolouring the exposed area's around the label.

I bought a Rome board and it left those marks exactly where the stickers I pulled off it were at.
I can’t recall the last time a new board didn’t do this to some degree.
There is literally nothing wrong
Every new board that has a label on the base has this kind of discoloration. There’s nothing to worry about at all.
Ok, got it, thanks for your answers!
