Looking for a decent all arounder for my girlfriend who’s going on her second year. She is a bit taller and has been suggested to riding a men’s board.
Figured I’d see what’s out there though
Shes
5’11”
Around 150lbs
Size 9 US in shoes
Beginner
Directional twin
We’re in the “Ice Coast” so good edge technology is definitely a plus

Being tall doesn’t necessarily mean she’ll need a longer board. Board size is typically based on weight. In her case stance width is something to consider particularly if she is lighter. You’ll also want to verify she’s actually a size 9 in snowboard boots. Snowboard boots are sized down from street shoes

Indeed tall does not mean she needs a bigger board.
My wife is 5’9” 163lbs 9.5US and she has the niche sonnet 151. She pretty much started with this board. Very good in ice because of the serrated edges. I would look into the niche line for the “ice coast”
