I'm going out at least once this season, probably twice. One trip will have the girlfriend along for her first skiing experience.

I'm thinking Loveland could be a good place to get her suited up and with gear and a lesson or two. It's $105 for all day, gear included. Anyone have any experience with Lovelands ski school?

I'll either hike the pass or just go to the resort and buy a ticket. What's up with the pass these days? Same as it always was? How about the ski area?

Thanks!

Oh, the second trip will be to Aspen to visit a homie...we'll do it for under $500. :)

No experience with Loveland's school, but Loveland Valley is a great place for beginners. It's nice because it's all beginner and intermediate terrain so it's essentially all beginners there.

If you're hiking the pass, then I'm assuming you have backcountry experience and know how to make decisions in avalanche terrain? Don't be a statistic, man.
