Small, something like 1100' vertical, but probably more high speed (3) quads per acre than any other hill in the country.

Thats the resort I learned at, I grew up in Hill City, SD.

It's a fun little mountain, gets the job done. They recently replaced the red chair with a new high speed quad and have plans on adding another lift and more land in the next five years. The preseason season pass is around 300 bucks.

The Park is hit and miss - Some years they have a good jump line and a half pipe, other years it's just a couple 20 footers and rails/boxes everywhere. Hopefully they step their game up there - It would really help the resort IMO.

There are some fun little tree runs to keep you entertained. About a 5 hour drive to Denver..

Thanks, I was not aware that there was a ski resort in SD until my sister in law mentioned it:dunno: checked out the website and it seems pretty cool but wanted some input from riders who has been there. Might just go there once this season then head out to Grand Targhee for some deep stuff:thumbsup: thanks again!

They're claiming 84" of snow in the last 10 days.
My parents still live there, it's real life..

Afterall.. We did lose like 50,000 cows and tons of horses in the storm! My folks were without power for 5 days and lost tons of trees.

4 feet of snow in a day, it might of stuck around at Terry since its at 7500 ft. They've also got a few storms of 8'' and 16'' since then.
