I don't have (305 and focas boas), but apparently the binary is a lashed with boas, level 3 liners and 5 out of 10 flex/stiff. I'd imagine they are fine for a weekend recreationalist and perhaps lacking for a core rider...but idk.

If it's a Lashed with Boa lacing, make sure you check (in person, if possible) how they fit with your bindings. I heard in several reviews last year that the Lashed has a wider sole than ThirtyTwo's other boots and is difficult and awkward to fit with some bindings. Check out some of ThirtyTwo's other boots too. They are by far some of the best in the industry, and are very high quality for prices lower than most other boots.

Thanks for all heads up on the wider soles. I have been looking around at Thirty Two's and I like what they have to offer.

I have these boots but have only used them once so far this season. I just had to add part of the heel hold kit and they are great. Super comfortable and plenty warm.

I haven't used them on the hill but I did try them on at the store. They seem to be good for those with slightly wider feet, but have a smaller outsole/profile than most 32 boots that have always been very bulky. They were not overly heavy and comfy. I didn't choose them because they were just a little too soft and also they didn't grip my heels as much as I would've liked.
