Yeah I'm going in for surgery on Thursday. Bones are fractured in multiple places so I need some titanium plates in there.

Ah shit. Take care of yourself brother. Hoping you'll make a full recovery. Have fun with the pain meds (I'm not talking about abusing them, just using them to help your pain...obviously).

One week post, we trust that all went well. Don't know how well you can text / keyboard with your left hand, but when you're up to it, drop in and let us know how you are. Hope you have a good prognosis going forward.

Hey everybody, surgery went well and I have a titanium plate in my radius but the ulna will heal without intervention. Unfortunately this requires a cast that goes up past my elbow at least until the 8th when I'll get some sort of removable brace/splint.

I can move my fingers around well with no pain and can grip things so that seems positive.
