On monday I hit a baby natural jump and went a little off-balance. I thought 'oh well, just a little tumble and i'll get back up and go". Turns out the landing was pretty flat with a thick layer of ice-like snow. I slammed my shoulder onto it and it hurt like a mofo, but I just got back up to'ride it off'. After 100 yards though I stopped to lay down for a bit. After some convincing I let my buddy look at it and he said it didn't look right at all(like dislocated), so he went down to get patrol. At that moment there wasn't much pain it was just extremely stiff/sore to move. They took me down to the hospital and we opted to see our own doc later instead paying the ER cost there because it looked like it was swelling that made it look funny, not dislocation. It was in a sling for the day and was iced. Now it's 3 days later and we never went to the doc cuz it seems to be getting slightly better, but my range of motion is still pretty limited cuz of the stiff/soreness, but not much pain really, and I iced it last night but that's it since the day I hurt it. It also feels poppy/crunchy(not big pops or crunches, just a bunch of little ones) all the time if I reach for something or even just move a little sometimes. What did I do? And what SHOULD I do?
