Ask a lot of pain pills and tough it out... just when you think your shoulder is getting much better, your therapist will find ways to make it harder for you. That is actually a good thing.

With that injury the thereapy and doing it correctly is critical. If you dont rehab it correctly, the injury will occur over and over. I dislocated my right side 19 times in 3 years before I finally quit fucking around and took my thereapy seriously.

I've broken about 4 bones and seperated my shoulder, nothing as serious as suddenly having two spleens, but my stoke always returned. Really depends on the type of personality you are. Hopefully snowboarding will be one of your motivations for PT.

That's what I said. Until it did. Well, it didn't take away my stoke, just stopped me in my tracks. Two weeks of lay up and constant pain. Since, it has given me weekly chiro appts and daily inversion therapy.

Mine were between L3/L4 and L5/S1. I rode like that, in utter pain, because I could not wait to get out on my new setup. It was not the best decision. But neither was doing all the other physical activites I do daily, for that matter. I certainly don't blame it on snowboarding; it was in the making for months.

Stoke vs. Body is a tough match.

5 years ago torn meniscus in the knee. Operated on, didn't do the physio and was back in physio 6 months after the op. Actually did it that time! 4 years ago, fractured C3 in the neck. Now boarding harder than ever!! Hardest part in relation to snowboarding was learning to be comfortable with my back down the slope again. Got cut up by an asshole of a skier and ended up going 3 times backwards over my head. The skier didn't even stop :( But yeah, nothing will stop me from boarding :)

Yeah, I had to do that for the first few weeks, too. Now going once a week until re-exam in a couple weeks, then determining a plan from there. It works well if you're able to stick with it. Good luck!
