Looking into a new pair of boots for the coming season. I've been riding k2 boas from 2007 and they're pretty much shot at this point. i do like the convenience of the boa lacing system, but am willing to go for some regular laces to.

i've been looking into a couple brands; vans, k2, and nike to be exact.

i'm an intermediate rider and am looking for something comfortable that will last me a few seasons, no price range.

The right boot is the one that fits. Try a bunch on, then choose the one that feels the best.

I love my Salomons, but there are lots of other companies out there that make great boots.

I have a pair of Ride Sash boots and I love them! They do have the BOA system as well. The most important part when picking a boot is not to have any preasure points anywhere. Everyones feet are made different which is why there are different fitting boots out there. Like lilfoot said, go out and try some on. DO NOT buy without trying first. Once you find a pair that fits well, walk around the store in them for 5 minutes and see if they're still comfortable.
