Looking for a play/park board for those non-powder days! I've been using a T7 but don't want to ruin the thing.

I'd like a Custom or Custom X, 2010 and newer, with or without bindings. Size from 154 to 160 or so...

Let me know what you've got and how much you want! :yahoo:

Just an FYI, but i'm not sure a Custom X is what you want for park/play...that's more of an all-mtn board designed to bomb away on steeps and really carve - it's pretty stiff. The Custom could certainly do what you're looking for but I wouldn't recommend the Custom X.

Not trying to tell you what to do, just providing some insight as an FYI.

Dude there's one on kijiji new for 400
Yeah I e-mailed the guy (the Custom X guy) I'm trying to get it cheaper than that! I only paid $500 for the T7 a couple years ago.

E-mailed a guy with a Custom camber and Cartel bindings. He wanted $250 and I offered him less. He said price wasn't negotiable since he paid 5 times that! I said that paying $1250 for a Custom with bindings might not have been the best move. Don't think I'm going to get that snowboard! :dizzy:

I have a 97 Custon 164 (might have a couple of bolts through it on my bench) if youre interested! :yahoo:
Sweet! :yahoo: Funny thing is I was thinking about getting a longer board like that and cutting the tips down so it's a blunted tip board. :D

Dude bite the bullet & buy the Restricted Custom Snowboard.

The Animal one comes in a 151 or a 158.

You aren't too big for the 151, I used to have one & I'm bigger than you.

It's only for park, the 151 will be more fun.

The 158 will be too similar to the other boards & not near as fun as the 51 would be.

What size was that Custom with the brand new C02 bindings I messaged you about just before you got here?:dunno:

Probably should have snatched that up eh? $150 is less than half of just the bindings alone.

Fuck I know! You're killing me! I just don't want any of that fancy pants hybrid camber stuff... Maybe I can buy a Restricted custom and heat the thing up, put it in a press and make it cambered! :yahoo:

I probably shouldn't have pissed of this guy. $250 is pretty good for a nearly new Custom and bindings... Loads of brand new winter Mens snowboard gear FOR SALE ASAP - Calgary Sports Goods For Sale - Kijiji Calgary Canada.

Feel like e-mailing him and telling him he should sell it to me for the $150 I offered him?!? lol

Even the Custom X is going to feel like a wet noodle for me! I'm the guy around here that likes snowboards to be long, stiff, and cambered. That includes in the park! Custom X has a longer sidecut radius for the same length boards vs other burtons, and being stiffer it wouldn't feel like a wet noodle to me if I bought a shorter board than normal. Custom X 152 or 156 would be fun! :D

I guess you wouldn't be interested in my 2010 custom x w/ 2011 cartels since you are lowballing an already cheap 250 for a custom.

Go for a Custom Flying V. You will NOT be disappointed. I pretty much ride a twinned out smaller version of that, and that thing can do anything you need, and it does come in twin if you need that. Does well in park and pow. The board just lets you go nuts, and tbh, you seem like the person who LOVES to go nuts.

Yeah I guess I am cheap, I just figured nobody ever posts their real price on Kijiji, you're always supposed to lowball! $250 really is a good price for a nearly new Custom with bindings.

You in Alberta? Got any pics? How much do you want?

If you want stiff and cambered you need a Bataleon. TBT makes it so fucking stiff but also playful. Not sure, but riot might be it. Or it might be too stiff?
