Hi All!

Title says it all as my 3rd season is coming to an end I'm really looking to get my dream board now!

So if anyone has a Burton Vapor that they would be willing to part with please feel free to either PM me or leave a post in the thread! I look forward to interacting with you!

As of april 6th 2016 I am still looking for a board! So please if you have any information or are willing to sell a board I am all ears!

Hey all! I'm also expanding this to the Burton Mystery! From what I've read its basically the continuation of the Vapor! And yes I have found the mystery's on ebay and already into those bids! However, if there are some im missing please feel free to point me in the right direction!

I have a '13 Vapor (blue w/ white graffiti art) in 157 in near mint condition I could sell. Its mint because I rode it a few times, tried to like it, didn't, and its been a wall art since.

Also available are Diode EST (black, medium) from the same year. Also mint.

Are my sizes what you need?

Why is it your dream board? Because of the price?
The price has to be my least favorite thing about it!!!! My gosh it wants to tear you a new one! But no I honestly got to ride one back in my 2nd season and I have just never felt something quite like it and I absolutely loved it! Plus the graphics are always so spot on!

So what about the vapor do you like about it? Is it the graphic and just that?

Did it ride well? If so how did it ride compared to your other board(s)? Also have you demo'ed or get a chance to ride any other boards? What features did you like that is on the vapor that is not on any other board?

Compared to the gear I got for free from a friend years ago it rides like an absolute dream! The graphics are the bomb.com and it was the first board I was ever super interested in when I first started riding! It's like the Ducati panigale for me! Something you don't get when you first start riding but something you dream about owning when you have the chance!

Ekb, don't shit on his dream. Just because most of us don't see the value, doesn't mean that there isn't value to him.

OP, the board is overpriced for what you get, and given your admitted level of experience, it's not likely to do anything that a $500 board that you buy for $300 can't do. That said, you want it, go get it. It's your money, if you want to spend it on graphics, good for you.

Hey Deacon I totally get that this board is on the more expensive side!
But seeing how it is about at least 3 years old now and used I'm not anticipating paying to much more than a brand new board now. Like I said previously though I'm just looking to start to get my own gear since I've been using hand me down gear for quite a bit.

So if you could recommend a setup for someone who's snowboarded for a few seasons now and loves to carve I am all ears!

this is reason enough. I would say to try other boards too if you haven't because you can be missing out. Seen a couple here and there on craigslist for $300ish and mysterys for about $500-600. Hopefully robotfood can hook you up. G'luck.

The reality is that most of us buy boards for all kinds of reasons that may matter if the goal is being on the perfect board for our skill and the conditions and may not. It is actually pretty rare that we get to demo boards and even when we do it certainly doesn't mean there aren't 30 boards from 10 other companies that would be just as good. I had a great time demoing the Never Summers last month and it definitely makes me more likely to buy one, but I tried a few of them for a few runs in the specific conditions that day. Does that information really help that much other than making sure you don't hate the board?

So to the OP, if you loved the ride you had on the Vapor and you like the graphics and you have the money, go for it! Loving your board will get you out there more and you will be a better rider for it even if another board would have worked fine, too.

Hey all thanks for the support! If you have boards for sale or know of any please do not hesitate I'm looking at all years of the vapor so please do not hesitate to let me know!

i'm 165 lbs and a size 10 boot if that helps!

If anyone has any suggestions to comparable boards I'm also all ears but just know I've been dreaming about this board since i was 15 so your going to do have to do quite a lot to sway me on this one!

check out the mystery, it's a upgraded vapor The Burton Mystery Camber Review by The Good Ride
Hey Jae!

I have not yet had the privilege to ride one of those beauties and I honestly don't know if I want to. If vapor's were still being made there is no way I could afford them retail which is definitely why I've waited until there at least a couple years old to hopefully get a nice deal on one of them. I'm a college student so money doesn't come by easily but I wish I could afford a mystery!
