All right, well I'll just do the searching myself. Apparently it shouldn't take as long as I thought.
I'll return exchange the boots if they don't fit.
Take care.

p.s. if people thought deer was so good, they sell it at McDonalds, Chili's, etc.

Not true, game meat is more of a delicacy because people hunt it themselves. Grocery stores go for beef because it can be raised and slaughtered locally for the most part. Deer aren't raised in yards or pastures for slaughter. They are wild life.

The more you know....

BTW, nice gun Slyder

Yeah, do more searching for the wrong answer that you seem to want. God, I regret spending the 5 minutes to try and help you figure out how to get good boots.

What I realized is that this guy didn't really want advice - he wanted other people to do the leg work and put together a setup within his budget for him. He's now realizing he's not going to get a set up handed to him on a silver platter on this forum. BUT he's going to do this himself while completely ignoring any advice given to him.

Returing/exchanging costs money and time - return shipping, differing prices between boots, etc. Not all brands of boots are going to fit your feet. Sometimes sizing up or down doesn't matter - the boot just doesn't fit your foot well. Shit why I am even bothering.

don't listen to these idiots man, they just don't know. I can help though. The calculator was way wrong. You need at least a 172cm board at your size. nice long sidecut so you can get on edge easier. Find one as stiff as you can so you're way more stable and won't fall over as easy while you're learning. As a beginner you're going to want really soft boots because they will be the most comfortable. And finally stick with click in bindings, they offer the most response as there is way less material between you and the board. Good Luck Buds, you got this :D:skateboarding::thumbsup:

No...no...no....you are all doing it wrong.

Get yourself a very nice pair of $20 chuck taylors and a plastic board from a garage sale for $5 with those awesome step in plastic straps. Research on youtube...you will see people killin it with that setup. You can easily remove your board at any time...you can walk when other newbies are trying to awkwardly 1 foot their POS traditional board and boots. It is nearly impossible to catch an edge and slam yourself silly with this board. You can simply avoid all these awkward learning things with this setup.

Seriously, $25 and you will be the king of the hill.

But wait...there is more: you can take it to the local sledding hill and show up all the 10 year olds...BONUS!! :)
