The Direct Connect System are those 2 little triangles in the screenshot (bottom right)... still trying to figure out mounting angles from it.
I’m thinking the triangles rotate? And that they should point towards the edge. And aligning the point to the edge after twisting them or however you adjust them, “aligns” the frame to that angle.

More like a stiffer, responsive, and poppy passport. Camber profile is different as it supposedly doesn’t have rocker in the nose but is otherwise the same shape as the passport.
Regarding its stance versus the alchemist, the only thing I’m aware of is that it’s somewhere in the middle between the passport and alchemist.
I’m not sure about the purpose of removing rocker in the nose from a freeride standpoint, but from what I’ve been told from someone that’s ridden it, it’s a solid addition to the lineup.
I’m definitely not extremely well versed in how these lineups work/what makes a good one, but my understanding was the alchemist was the passport upgrade. They’re not the same deck or even a “pro” version but I thought the passport was “chill freeride” and alchemist was more of a “true freeride” deck. Wonder how they make those calls on the business side, as I’d be concerned about overlap. But I guess the people who would be confused aren’t the market for the commonwealth anyways.

After testing some models over the week, soulmate was my favorite shape but to slow and soft. So the proto was the way...

Nice! I do like that style of shape, directional taper with the little blunted swallowtail, so I wanted to but unfortunately wedding planning burns the cash.

Possibly wrong thread but does anyone know more about this 32 hacking thing TRice mentioned on the bomb hole? He just threw that out there in the middle of a convo about bindings and no one bit.
