Hey everyone,

I'm looking for a new board. I'd prefer an All-Mountain board that is also good for powder. I'm an intermediate driver.
My current board is a Nitro Team Gullwing which I like to drive but when it comes to icy conditions the edge hold isn't that good.
So I was thinking about a more camberlike board to get more edge hold, but it shouldn't be too aggressive.

I found two boards that could suit my needs and which are not that pricy as well.
Burton Cartographer and Nidecker Escape. Both are 21/22 models.

Both seem to be a good option for All-Mountain/Freeride. The Cartographer seems to be more like the Team in terms of forgiveness than the Escape.

Would you recommend one of them for All-Mountain/Freeride?

Cheers

Just quoting a review here: "it's maybe the board with largest range of riders" So you can hardly go wrong here, even if it's maybe notthe "absolute best" or have the most character. I haven't ridden it personally thought, but with this kind of boards I would worry too much, they are pretty much figured out.

It's a wide category, with many good boards (especially if you're not a shape nerd). If I had to suggest to just one—but there could be dozen more—, maybe a Slash brainstorm? A really easy to handle board that can do a lot of things and has a lot of range to grow into (half the pro team is using it), with a nice rocker in the nose for powder.
