Appears Kevin is cleaning up as the all star media prostitute for Clew now. Maybe it could be a good idea for Avran @BurtonAvenger to jump in with all this big money pit $$$$?

wow. I've seen the first gen in shops and was not interested, but this "more athletic" iteration just looks ass!

toe strap looks unnecessarily bulky, the toe slider adjuster looks so so clunky and basic, and honestly when he was showing off that new heel cup design, all i could see was a binding from the late 90's.

insane to think that there will be people paying $750aud for these....

well, there's certainly something to be said for Tiktok and Instagram influencers, "influencing".

i think the most legit, hardcore rider i've seen all season, was at my local Foodworks supermarket, in town.

this guy was so core, that he still had his Clew stirrups on, as he walked through the supermarket aisles.......

..... in a supermarket that is 45 minutes drive (for most visitors) from the parking lot at Falls.

i looked down at 'em because i couldn't quite believe the level of hard-coredness i was witnessing, and he actually looked smug as he walked past.

all i could think was "mate, you're meant to be in your Crocs by now!!!"

I feel like a lot of this stuff came out on Flows like 10 years ago, the toe strap reminds me of a hybrid from the last generation. The ones before the good mesh ones, the ones that SUCKED that always had you leaned over to fix your toe strap.

I think FASE, Supermatics, and Flows have the bring your own boots fast entry game covered just fine. I really don't see what Clew brings to the table. The stirrup thing feels like an intermediate solution that's meant to be solved later but they're just rolling with it.

So it didn't take Buckhouse long as he describes to go "hammer time" with his big advertorial promo raving about the Clew 2.0 "Independent". I won't add the link in here but as expected he does heaps of park tricks with his final endorsement, "..., they are the best snowboard bindings I have ever ridden"???
