Curious your take with the new prototype three and prototype three ultra verse the capita mercury. Love the idea of a one board quiver that attacks the entire mountain except for park and with the new blower stance I wonder if that’s something worth looking into.

 

I'm definitely in the NS fan club. I delaminated/ broke a BSOD and mega Merc in 2 consecutive years. Won't go back. I've had 9 NS board since 2012 and never had a failure like that. The NS boards do ride damper and heavier, but the edge hold on my V-twins is unreal. I had 2 PT2s and loved them, looking forward to trying the 3 soon.

 

The Protos are going to be a little closer to a DOA or Super DOA riding style wise. The FR version would be the all Mtn/Freeide style closer to the Mercury/Mega Merc. That being said with the carving power of the triple camber the Type 3 amd T3 Ultra can definitely handle some freeriding. Haven’t had a chance to test the blower stance yet because I got the board a little later in the season but hopefully this winter I’ll get it into some legit deeper snow!

 

Why has noone ever done this before?
