Soft Sidas Insoles

The black ones, as far as I know, are 'Winter custom comfort', while the red ones are 'Winter custom'. I have the black ones as well, they were a tad more expensive than the red ones.

I would say that, compared to the stock Burton insoles and FP Gamechangers, the Sidas Winter custom comfort has a bit more cushioning on top. The FP Gamechangers can get more soft if/when they get warm, but when cold I'd say the clear winner in that respect is the Sidas.

As for the heel, mine look pretty different - the bottom part is a hard plastic shell, and on top of that there's 2 layers (gray and black). The plastic bottom, as far as I remember, is generic and there to give structural stability, while the other two layers were heat molded in the machine, then glued on the bottom.

Looking at your pictures it looks as if your bottom part, the one giving structure, is completely different from mine, both in the new and old ones, and as if the whole insole sits higher than mine, but it might just be the picture angle. Not really sure, if that's true, why that would be - I'd imagine you want it as thin as possible, to avoid issues with the boot not fitting any more (overly increased instep height)? Anyway, from my own pictures mine look as if there's a drop of height going from the heel towards the toes but when I put my foot down I wouldn't say my foot is at an angle (= that my heel is sitting higher). Think it's just the arch support articulating it, until pressure from the weight is on it.

Overall, compared to the stock Burton insoles, my foot (instep) does sit higher. Be it from the insole material height itself, or the fact that it's preventing my foot to flatten too much, I cannot say.

If I understand correctly you're asking for our opinions if the heel part is too high for you? From the pictures you posted they look of a similar profile, but both seem to having a more articulated "drop" from the heel to the front part, compared to mine (which might be completely due to picture angles and different feet). So I guess if the black ones were fine like that, the blue ones should be as well?

Or did you mean you get more heel raise when using them?

Indeed, my first insoles (black) are winter custom Conford, to my surprise the new insoles are for running, with a bamboo base and a medium-hard stabilizer, that information was enough to confirm my driving sensations (too soft and unstable ) with a tendency to deform in higher impact activities. I returned them to the bootfitting that customized them for me.😏😒
Oh ok, now I understand what bothered you - I didn't get it at first, that your heel part of the insole was too soft and making you unstable. :)

Glad you got it sorted with proper insoles types. :)

Your insoles do not have a stabilizer 🥴 you may not need it🤷🏽‍♀️
Out of curiosity, which part is the stabilizer? I thought the bottom plastic handles that to some respect.
