I'm not saying there isn't a heel lift problem, but I have zero heel lift on the 2nd click. I have no idea what a metal cleat is meant to accomplish though, because wear and tear is not a big concern on those parts? You're also moving stress to somewhere else now, that may not be a replaceable spot. And finally, aluminum has no endurance limit so one day it'll just crack open and you won't have any way to predict it.
I guess I'm a little worried this is like a snowboarding equivalent of selling cold air intakes to car guys...
