I’ve got the Vice on a softer all-mountain. Same base as the Katana with a softer high back. It’s super Comfy, but the asym is really too soft for me. The baseplate flex is somewhat similar to Burton Genesis X Re:Flex. Maybe the carbon asym would be better?

I’ve got the Astro full wrap, which is a great all around binding. Also have the Cleaver with the carbon base and high back. You definitely feel some more vibration and harshness with the carbon, but it’s still way better than most bindings.

Note that my 260 Vans Verse are at the end of the M/L adjustment and my reduced footprint 260 Ride Insano are actually too small (toes are too far from edge).

It’s a medium disk that you can mount 4x4, but then there’s no slide adjustment.

I’d love a carbon bottom with a softer highback. The Flux Cv LTD are like that and it works with my style… heel toe precision with a bit more maneuverability.

Angry snowboarder said the FASE base is a bit thicker & rides higher.
