The 32 and Jones FASE binding share a frame. Different highback/straps.

 

The Rome/Bataleon FASE stuff with the ALU heelcup look way better than the unibody nylon. Those look chunky.

 

Binding straps on boots lol. That thing is bottoming out long before it makes contact with my skinny shins. There’s this crazy new stuff called Velcro, it’s a long shot but it might work even better.

 

Looking forward to trying FASE for sure.

 

I like the Nidecker strap. Makes more sense. And there is upper shell lacing it tightens as well as the strap. On both boots actually.

 

 

Damn that A-frame is fugly.

 

That is a very different shape than the prior A-Frame. Kind of like how they dramatically changed the Coda.

It’s interesting they’re going away from grip tech and uprise fenders.

 

 

I think this system will do well. I wasn’t able to find a downside in performance and the only negative is a slight increase in price. IMO

 

Looks like Rome keeps the pivot on the strap while Bataleon loses the kink on FASE?

 

How do you get out of the FASE bindings? Is there a lever somewhere or does opening the ankle strap allow the high back to hinge backward?
If the heelcup isn’t huge like Supermatics I can see myself riding the Katanas. My current pair have five seasons on them and this would be an easy transition to the new type of binding.

I added a few Lib pics to a preview blog from the local show I got to go to. Fair warning, my pics don't really do it justice for some of the new textured reflective boards like the DPR. 2025 / 2026 Lib Tech Snowboards Lineup Preview And Release Dates - Board of the World Hopefully I can get to ride it and snap a better photo at a demo event.

I’d like to see the Bataleon Salsa Lace boots. If they are less vibrant looking than this years I’ll try and squeeze another season out of my current boots. If not I’ll cop those rainbow ones from this year and style it out.

 

You should rock those on a Nitro Volcom Alternator.

looking for colorways for next years Burton AK line or Volcom Guch. All I have seen so far is an ugly reddish brown color.

 

That red wouldn’t be bad with khaki pants.
It’s a lot better than that salmon bullshit color and some others they’ve had in recent years.
