Burton reflex bindings don’t leave a lot of toe/heel adjustment.

I have the bindings all the way forward on the adjustments allowed on the plate. And still like 1.25” of heal overhang. 🙄 Toe overhang is like .5” maybe a smidge less.. doesn’t really effect my riding, but if I could center it I would be golden. Ha I get heal drag on a Deeeep heel side carve, but rarely, only in soft snow. The heel side carve gets slightly chattery more than toe side also.
Icy steepy moguls though.. I wonder if at some point the heal contacts and will make me wash out. Happened like 2 times only this year.
K2 boots are pretty huge though.. and maybe more heal bulk than toe?
Honestly how does this happen in such an uneven way?

151 Yes Standard, 9.5 k2 boots, medium Burton bindings.

I can appreciate this, as Burton's toe/heel adjustment is far from the best. With no adjustable heelcup, you're limited to what the disc can do since the heelcup is a set size--and a pretty long one at that.

Burtons fit "longer" in this way. I'm also in a medium binding, but with size 10.5 boots--which is basically the biggest boot you can comfortably fit. However, my boots are close to perfectly centered over the board in the middle hole (maybe a touch heel heavy). From there, there's only 5mm toeward or heelward on the discs. So actually, these medium bindings are sized for 10 to 12, in terms of length (if my calculations are correct).

All that being said, I'm a little surprised you're that far off, as I figured you'd be pretty close to centered with moving them toeward. Are your boots particularly short? Are you sure they're medium bindings and not large? (sorry, not trying to insult)

I use to grind/round off the tread hanging over, but I haven’t done so in over a decade as footprints got smaller. But yeah, reflex adjustability is limited… I try to get it fairly even, but now I realize that I like my Toes a bit closer to the edge.

Damn Yes recommended a 151 for the business I asked about. Mobility in trees and general maneuverability cause I like to ride like the whack inflatable tube guy. Ha they said I could go with the 153 for more solid underfoot feel when bombing. Went 151 for playfulness and have not been disappointed on the Standard at all!

I’m gonna just except it as a comparability issue. Have only ridden a couple Burton bindings in my time on the hill. Am curious about Katana bindings. This does the job though with no heal drag today in thekinda snow that makes the place feel like powder soaked in water:)

Been eyeing the Dynamo 156.. saw one today at the rack lookin sexy af.. ran into the dude that had it and picked his brain. He was my weight and height and Loved it except for jibbing stuff. Gonna try to rent one from the local shop next week.
These 2018 Cartel bindings are pretty nice except for the de agh grip you can enforce with the hammock strap. Put a Malavita high back in them today and they ride much more complimentary to my feet.

Also went from 12/12 to 9/9 angle today… surprisingly comfortable and my carving control at ability to blast through terrain at a 19.5” stance was pleasurable. ✨
