I have the 165 form my 163 & 161cm decks,.. it’s WAAAAY long. Even with those boards. Im thinking your 158 will b fine in the shorter bag unless you want the extra space for extra gear or future rides. My 159 Proto SWIMS in this bag. View attachment 165960

Did you make the foam board guards or they come with the bag?

Home Depot. Pipe insulation for plumbing. One standard 6’ or 8’ piece length cut to fit. Need two if you want TOTAL edge coverage. I found cutting one in 1/2 and pieces secured over nose & tail provides adequate coverage for everything but COMPLETE destruction of the bag. 😎
