Firstly ive been out of snowboarding for 6-7 years after breaking my back so coming back in, i was kinda shocked how much has changed. I have no clue what brands are good anymore outside of burton. That being said i started riding a Lamar Hetzle Lite that was passed down..its probably 15 years old so i thought i better step up a little. I was browsing around and happened to check Craigslist and found a Burton Verdict V-Rocker 162 with Flow bindings and a like new burton bag listed for $350...i got it for $200. The board is probably a touch big for me...im 5,8" and 170-180#. Ive talked to a couple people though already and they have made it seem like i was taken....is it a decent board? Did i overpay? As a note it is a 2010 year board...not purchased until 12, and supposedly wasn't ridden much due to a shoulder injury. It is in awesome shape.

Why worry about possibly overpaying a bit after the fact? At this point, the value is in the enjoyment. Ride it like you stole it and let it put a big smile on your face. Happy riding!

I know sqwat about that board or bindings... However, if it's in good shape @ $200 for a complete setup that gets you out n riding? I'd say you did alright!

You could easily spend $200 on crappy rental gear in 3-4 trips to the hill, so you're almost certainly better off with this rig! Spend your money on New boots tho! Don't buy those used! ;)

Happy Sredding! >:)
