So, I haven't seen many posts about this board, though everyone I talk to that has ridden it raves about it. I bought one at a deep discount as it is getting toward the end of the season, will take it out next week. Anyone else have experiences with it????

WW really isn’t narrow. In fact I’d call it normal. We’ve grown accustomed to these new wide boards and the industry would have you believe you can’t carve on something under a 26ww. The 159 has the same WW as my 158 TSPro and that board carves like mad.

snowboarding industry has really gone the way of the bike industry with specialization.

Took it out today on a good powder day, set all the way back. First impressions, it was little catchy at first with the magnatraction only in the rear, once I got used to it no issue. Great float, I mean it was not waist deep but plenty of deep spots and it floated perfectly. Very surfy feel set back. I’m not one to do too many jumps so can’t really comment on that as my little side hits don’t really count- great edge to edge though. I wouldn’t be bummed if it was my only board but also don’t know that it was better than my ejack. Sintered base was notable too.

Rode the Gnu and the Ejack in some really nice powder -2ft plus today, similar on Sunday. Def. think the Banked Country was better overall in the powder, easier in the trees( 160w ). The Ejack was on the deeper day, would randomly catch an edge just screwing around, makes sense as it def. has a stronger camber profile. Ejack has more pop, stomps landings...just locks right in. Of my current collection (Golden Orca, Ejack, Banked Country) I think the Golden Orca should be used on any sort of powder day and the Ejack for groomers/ice. The Banked Country feels very .... nimble, elegant. The Ejack is fierce! Debating on getting a Jones Aviator 2.0 in similar size thanks to end of season sales.
