This will be my second year of snowboarding and I want to get into freestyle riding a have a pretty old burton twin and some k2 step in bindings but I want to know what a good binding and boot combo would be for me I can snowboard excellent just I want to start doing freestyle and tricks you know?
I guess price doesn't really matter because I am asking for it as a christmas pressent so hit me up with ideas.

Like these guys said, Union Force, Rome 390, Burton Cartel and Burton Triad have all been my favourite. I ride Burton with Burton boots, but otherwise really enjoy the Union Force. I've heard great things about Rome 390s but never riden them, just strapped into a pair.

high end Burtons are good too. Cartels and Triads are wonderful if you don't mind the default forward lean. Triads are super comfortable while Cartels are very responsive, but 390's and Forces are the bindings to beat these days.

Thanks for all the comments guys, I've seen elsewhere about the 390's so i think I'm gonna stick with them. Now can somebody suggest a good size 10 boot for these binding I want something comfortable cause I'm on the mountain about 3-4 days a week and for 6 hours at a time so My anles and heels get super sore already.

i would get 390s i just bought a pair and there really nice, and i got them in the L/XL size and im also a size 10. and for boots just go to a local shop and try a lot of different pairs on and see what is comfortable and don't get boa boots get laced.

ive had an easier experience with my supposed shitty burton freestyles compared to my 390's

if your starting out, get a name brand, but dont dive into $200+ bindings, i would find something on sale, always find a sale w/ seasonal gear

agree with getting bindings on 2009 clearance sale. but i would get something at a slightly higher price point that can take a beating if you're still progressing - you'll be trying crazy stuff and falling a lot and cheap, plastic, entry-level bindings may not handle it. i had a cracked baseplate on entry-level burtons. ride has some decent, mid-level offerings with aluminum frames.

I've got some Cartels and I really like them. Although after 2 hard seasons on them they are really showing their wear. You can get Cartels from last season or the season before for less than a hundred bucks.

On my other board I've got a set of Flow Amp 5's that are super comfortable and great to get in and out of in the park, but good luck getting in them on something steep. I use my Burtons if I know I'm going to be doing stuff where I have to hike and might have to put my board on while I'm on a steep incline. Other than that I really liked them. I got them in the summer of 08 they were 07 season bindings, think I gave 80 something including shipping.

The best place I've found for deals on gear is Gear Attack - Deal Tracker It's a back country dot com deal. They have bindings on there all the time. Burton, Flow and others.

As many have mentioned I would vote for Rome 390s as well. All my decks have Rome bindings. My current setup is a 2010 Lib Tech Skate Banana with 2010 Rome 390's. My other board is a Neversummer SL-R with 390s as well. You'll love 'em!
