Hey Everyone!

I'm 178 lbs, height 6'25, foot size 10,5. I currently ride Forum Image 161 (I started riding last season).
I'm in the Midwest, close to Chicago.

The Image is a sick looking board, but it feels so edgy. It is impossible to ride it strait down, 'cause it looses stability and catches the edge so much! A friend told me the same after trying it.

So, I went out and got myself a K2 TD. The store had only 159 regular size. I'm riding pretty much midwest, but going out to Utah this Feb! :D

Is K2 TD 159 regular too small for me?! Weight-wise it is def within the range!

Please help, I can still change it for the right size :)

Thank you all in advance, and I wish everyone super epic riding this season... and for seasons to come!

I'm 5'11, and 180 lbs. I've tried a 161 Rossi Contrast and it was too big for me, yesterday tried a Burton Custom Flying V 158 and it felt great. From a weight range you are ok, I think the rest is just more of a prefernce thing. I just found I wasn't strong enough to steer the 161 board well enough so my take is that the 158 was easier for me to control and more nimble and fun. By the way I'm heading out to by a 158 Slayblade today!

if youre worried about the your foot size being too big your golden. you shouldnt have to worry about at wide until atleast 11 - 12.
for midwest riding a 159 should be great. and even in utah.

Turbo Dream is a rad board youll enjoy it for sure. no worries

Hey,

Thanks, congrats to you too! I have an size 11 boot, last few days I demoed a 158 regular whereas before I had a 161W but thought it was too big for me. So now I bought a 158 regular Slayblade, I'm 180lbs and 5'11 so hope it rides well for me. Can't wait to try it next weekend!!

I'm in Calgary, AB, Canada, I mostly stick to groomers but hope to try the slayblade in powder as well when I can.
