Hey lads, so i've been snowboarding for a while, but only recently got a decent chance to go on decent mountains, spent in the mountains 2 weeks with my Nitro Team snowboard, which i really liked, but i noticed once i developed the technique, at really high speeds it didn't feel as stable as i would like it to be while i was carving, so was wondering about a new snowbaord which would be able to lay out these carves, be way more stable and maybe do some powder? Any suggestions?
Main boards i'm looking at right now would be Nitro Pantera, K2 Alchemist, Korua Cafe Racer and Korua Dart .
Any one you ridden any of these? How do they compare? Maybe there are other suggestion which would be better? Thanks in advance lads.

I've got a 164 Stranda Shorty and a 165 Korua Trenchdigger. The Korua is fun in good conditions and its sidecut really pulls you into a turn. The simple construction can chatter on hardpack though. It's mostly camber (like the Cafe Racer) which has awesome spring out of a turn... but while it can ride pow, I wouldn't say it's that good.

I've got a 157 Soul Shift that's shaped like the Dart and it's great in powder. But if carving is more of a priority, I might look at the Pencil from Korua.

The Shorty has an ash core with titanal stringers and REALLY holds an edge (it does have more effective edge as well). The variable sidecut and the flexible/rockered tips make it fun to alter turn shapes. Carving is very fluid and smooth, but it doesn't spring out of a turn like some. It is a SERIOUS powder gun. I ride it in variable pow conditions (like when you don't know if drift you're about to hit is fluffy or solid ice underneath), and the nose will go over anything... and I've never went over the nose. It's actually almost too easy as ignoring your fore/aft balance can take some of the fun out of it... but if you want to bomb pow at terminal velocity there's no worries!

Note that all of these benefit from a posi/posi stance so that you can throw your hip into it. If you rely on ankle steering with a duck stance, it may not be as fun. Particularly the Stranda, it's pretty solid underfoot. But that's partly what gives it the stability.

On the Dart you might be alright on the 156 (as the tail is chopped off and it still has a decent effective edge), but you'd want to go larger on anything else. If you're really hitting 50mph you'd probably want to go with a "Plus" construction that has titanal... ie. Cafe Racer Plus or preferably the Bullet Train Plus. The 159 CR has an EE of 1200mm and a 8.2m sidecut radius, whereas the 160 BT has 1324mm EE and 9.8m SCR. The Bullet Train is made for speed. It's expensive, but looking at the construction it's actually a pretty good value.

You really want a larger SCR for speed. A lot of the purpose built freecarvers (Coiler, Jasey-Jay Anderson, Exegi, Donek, Swoard) are up around 12m and some race/BX boards go even larger. These would all cost more than the Bullet Train, and some of them aren't even constructed as good.

It looks like you're from Lithuania? The standard Korua were originally made at Nobile in Poland (maybe some still are?). Nobile sells their own boards as well and they have some deals on old stock. This 160 BX would rip:

It's not as wide, so a bit quicker edge-to-edge at speed. Defintely not a pow board though.

Rome Stalefish, last years model (this year's looks similar / perhaps exactly the same) is a good carver and enjoyable in powder. Holds an edge nicely and is easy stable at higher speeds. Did not get to take it out on any proper 15"+ days last season as I didn't get the board until late winter / early spring and often find myself in the BC on deeper days regardless. That being said it seems like it will perform great in deep conditions. More marketed in the realm of a free ride / powder board however I like carving on it more than my all mountain board.
