HDPE or pvc sheets not pipes

 

gravedug hard, this thread is 7 months old, if TS hasn't found a covering for his snowboard box yet i don't think he ever will

 

Doesn't really matter. New people are coming on all the time, and will just re-ask the question anyway. Nice to have the info.

 

you can even use steel sheet if your super hard up for cash. Some kind of PTFE would be nicer for your board base though

 

have you used sheet metal? I have and it sucks. ha i dont know if i got the wrong stuff but it kept ripping and it was way to easy to catch an edge in.

2 or 3 years ago i sucked it up and put the money into HDPE and It's easily the best investment i have put into my snowboard park
its $40 for a 2' by 4' sheet 3/8" thick at usplastics.com shipping is reasonable so the thread starter could have covered his box for about $50
