Since you want a twinish shape the k2 party platter comes to mind. I'd also recommend the telos backslash or capita slush slasher in a nontwin shape

 

I think that boot size combined with your lighter weight lend themselves to a volume shifted board.

Maybe something like a ride Warpig or Twinpig or the Marhar Lumberjack? Really depends on what size you're wanting. Several of the decks above don't come any smaller than 152. I also love the Salomon Dancehaul, but its not going to be amazing to ride switch. (Does fine in my book, but I don't ride switch a ton.)

 

I like the Party Platter. I ride the 147 at 85kg, i am not much of a freestyler so the small size make it easy on me on smaller features.
I guess you could do the 142 but may be tight based on boot size.

 

Party boards are stupid fun. I prefer volume shift for what you are talking about. I ride a K2 Party Platter and it’s awesome at switch while still doing everything you are talking about.

From the nitro line I would say nitro slush

 

Stiffer than you'd expect I think. Obviously being downsized so much in my case, definitely extremely playful, bend too much to charge on tracked snow but stiff enough to carve with some speed on good groomers.

 

Do volume shifted / short wides like the party platter (254 waist) work if you have a smaller foot size (eg. US 7)? Or does the wider waist width make it harder to create leverage and get on edge?

 

It’s a bit different, I’ve got a 11.5 boot on a 280 waist 157, I dig it as it lets me go kidney busting deep on carves but if you are used to foot steering it will be an adjustment

 

^^ So weight is more important here. I'm 130lbs which means the party platter (142: 130-230+lbs) would take more effort to move around than a 143 back/slash (up to 150 lbs)?

 

Whichever has less WW will generally be easier to get on edge

Party Platter is no doubt one of my favorite boards I’ve ever owned. It’s a party board through and through, but also crushes pow and is excellent in the trees.

However I got sort of sick of short fats this season and picked up a Party Mod. The Party Mod is not a “party board” in what has become the traditional sense of it but it really does almost all the same things just as well. Probably doesn’t float as well in pow but it’s a park board so you’ve got to keep your expectations in line with that. I prefer a full length board so I’m very happy with the Party Mod. I’m still getting used to the way this board snaps vs something with camber and it’s almost killed me a few times already but I can tell that we are gonna be friends.

Almost killed you in what way if you dont mind me asking? Just curious as I have a party mod but have yet to hit any jumps at this time with it.
