According to Wiredsport guide I'm length 25.1 cm R, 24.6 cm L, width both 9.5cm. I have narrow heels and ankles. But I'm in between a D and an E, closer to E according to the width chart

Am I a wide? I think so as did boot fitter. Wiredsport is not clear but reading the guide I'm close. Salomon did not think so

Sorry for the late sound in. The important thing to remember here is that there are no in between sizes. You are always going to be either one size or another. At 25.1 CM you are Mondo 255 or size 7.5 US in snowboard boot. 9.5 cm is always E width at 255 which does require a specific wide boot. Only Solomon produces their wide boots for E width. The Dialogue Wide will be a great choice. STOKED!

Thanks. I ordered and received Dialogue Wide JP boots 7.5/25.5. My right big toe is hitting the front seam pretty good, and the joint of my big toe, my little toe, as well as the top of my foot is feeling pressure. Left boot feels great. When I pull the liner out to try it on my foot looks like it's straining the front of the liner toe box area pushing it out. My heel hold is great. Do you expect heat molding will help?

Hi, Heat molding should be done first thing. During to normal break in period (riding) your boots will pack out ~ one full boot size.

Thanks. I can feel the problem, there is a thick ridge layer of foam across the top of the inside of the liner, right in front of the tongue and behind the toe area. That is pressing on the top of my toes and foot even with the lower Boa barely tightened at all. I'm still in the return window to return the boots, is heat molding something retailers accept/notice on returns? If the molding doesn't relieve some of the pressure?

My Burton Rulers felt like they barely packed out at all after 60 days of riding, admittedly they were not wides that I should have been wearing.

Yes, as long as the boots are in otherwise new condiotion return should be no issue. A second heat session will blank the liner. You may have a set that has already been heat fit to another foot

I ended up buying Salomon Dialogue Wides. Thanks Wiredsport!

They felt more solid than the Ride Lasso Pro Wides and I would have to size down half a size in the Rides. And I like the true dual zone boas.

After heat molding most of the initial pressure points went away, however the heel hold also got a little looser, initially it was fine. It may have been because the old ski boot fitter in my local shop insisted I slide my heel in and out a few times after the boots were heated before locking the boots and had me really tighten them down. I think I over compressed the heel foam? Was that crazy old ski boot fitter doing it right?

Hi, no. That is nuts, unless heel lift is the goal . Fortunately, you can have them fit again to correct that.
