I’ve had it with the hydro pack getting in the way on lifts. Yet every time I ride without I feel like I’m crossing the Sahara.

Anyone got a better solution for staying hydrated that doesn’t get in the way so much?

What size is your hydro pack? I use a fairly minimal 1.5L Camelbak hydration backpack with a 2L Hydrapak bladder (waaay better than a Camelbak for cleaning and filling). It's fairly low profile, lasts about 4-5 hours before needing a refill, and can even fit under my jacket (but I prefer it on the outside).

Another one for flexible flasks, or rather energy gel containers hah. Same idea but mine are 150ml and designed for endurance athletes fueling with gel I guess. 1 in each hand pocket is unnoticeable and enough to keep me going for the day. But I always have water in the car, chug some before riding and chug the rest after.

If you're also in the market for a new Jacket...
Bladders built into the snowskirt of the jacket or bibs.
