I'll be getting paid on Monday, so I'm planning on picking up some new bindings to go with my Yes GBoH board. Currently rocking Union Flites, which are just way too soft for this board. I'm looking for a true medium flex binding. Will primarily be riding all mountain freestyle, drops, trees, and pow. I've narrowed it down to 3 (perhaps 4) bindings. I've had previous experience with both Union and Ride and really like their bindings. Key features I'm looking for are comfort and responsiveness. Also, since my boots (Ride FUL's) aren't the cushiest, I wouldn't be opposed to some extra padding on the heel base.
Rider stats: 5'8", 185lbs.
Union Atlas: From the reviews, this sounds exactly like what I'm looking for, and the price certainly doesn't hurt as well. Only concern I have is on my Flites I have to tighten straps after every run, sometimes during the run if I'm doing hard carving. This could be a byproduct of them being soft though.
Ride Capo: Also sounds like what I'm looking for, plus they have the canted footbeds, which I've really been wanting to try. I've had the lx, ex, and contraband bindings, and had zero issues with any of them.
Flux DS30: Honestly the only reason I looked at this binding in the first place was the colorway, but after reading up on it, it too sounds like it fits the bill. I have had no experience with Flux before, so any info in regards to them would be greatly appreciated.
Potentially if enough people suggest I go with it, the Flux DMCC Light.
Thanks in advance!
