New Matrix "Lunar" Snowboard Bindings Boots 150cm 157cm 163cm | eBay

A new combo for $200. What can be so bad about it? It's not going to like crack in half or rust away, right? It's still wood with fiberglass or something over it, right? Most of you probably have $650+ combos and look at that as a piece of garbage but I'm wanting a board before like the new snow melts in 4-5 months. I made this thread and got no help again
http://www.snowboardingforum.com/bindings/156985-decent-100-pair-flows-100-boots.html
All the info's in that thread if someone wants to help me with this purchase.
Granted it's only been a day or two since I made the thread but apparently from the last thread people just want to recommend that forum user who sells boards or something, and I can't force anyone to search me out a new combo for $$350ish. I only want to spend $350 anyway used/new, I'm a beginner and no plans to get all crazy with snowboarding, I think the $200 combo should be fine but just making sure. I tried but couldn't find reviews for the cheap boards I looked up so I'm just asking opinions before I buy something (and also just kind of just bringing more attention to my thread I linked :/)

I don't mean to be a dick or difficult, but there's more selection and better prices on the ebay, and I can get used. Maybe I'll just check the classifieds section here and see if someone has a Flow board that fits me.

Well you are being a difficult dick. I have never even heard of this company. Everything just looks cheap ebay. If that is what you wan't don't waste our time asking us our opinions.
Then when some members steer you to "yes" forum member that is reputable, has helped other NEW members and members whom have been here for a while. In addition he shares his knowledge for free whether you buy from him or not. I have not bought from him but he has helped answer equipment questions I've had. you can at least ask questions of him and I'm sure he would still steer you to make a purchase with your budget in mind, even if you choose to buy elsewhere.

SO from now on do us all a favor and just use Google, don't ask our advice as you aren't receptive to our responses :eek:k:

you fucktarded rapebaby cumstain - quit spamming the forum with repeat versions of your shit thread.

if you want to go buy some piece-of-trash ebay setup with a capped board then go do it.

if you want the answer to your stupid fucking question "how can i get a decent setup for shit $$?" - it's already been given to you.

quit making new threads you dumb fuck.

Speak for yourselves instead of saying the entirety of this forum is just going to keep referring me to Wiredsport. And, slyder, I checked wiredsport, they have three piece combos for like $280 shipped including a carry bag which the ebay ones don't. So figure a $30 value for the bag, you're saying the extra $50for a wiresport combo isn't crap gear.

I have NO IDEA what Wiredsport combo he is quoting you. I am only stating he has helped others on a budget and they have been happy. He might be able to suggest a entry level Burton, Flow, Ride board, boots and bindings that may fit your request. It may not be a bundle but in your budget, he may not have them to sell you but he could point you into a good entry level set up. I havent' talked with him, you did.
MY point was don't dismiss the help ppl are trying to give you. If you said you've talked with him and want to follow a different path, want a different brand then he has or suggested....these are details you should have shared with us, included in this post.

Wiredsports isn't the only on-line vendor to sell package deals. A simple google search by me listed many reputable sellers with package deals. The ones I saw were a bit higher than your posted budget but again, this is your setup your job. One of the points of my post was this is a NO Name brand set up and looked like garbage. BUT my opinion of the set up is what you did ask for. My very 1st board was a buddies 8yr old board I bought for $40.

So take or leave the feedback you got here and on the other posts. You seemed less than grateful that is where all the anger is from and from my reading and responses rightfully so !!!
Do what you like, buy what you like, from whom you like.
Make the best decision for your circumstances even with input from others it is up to you to buy what you think will work for you. We can't make that decision for you nor should we....there are to many of those threads already !

i'm gonna go buy meat from the grocery store and eat some of it, and then be extremely wasteful with the rest.. maybe throw it away and go buy some more just to perpetuate the senseless murder of tasty, tasty little animals. with cute fluffy faces.

then i'll get drunk on the fermented tears of vegan sorrow and horror that i collect from snowmanblue as he weeps like a girl.

….I only want to spend $350 anyway used/new, I'm a beginner and no plans to get all crazy with snowboarding,

This probably should have been noted and HIGHLY factored into the equation when replying to this chump!

I think the $200 combo should be fine but just making sure. I tried but couldn't find reviews for the cheap boards I looked up….

That's because,… They're not worth reviewing!!! They are for people who will never be the least bit serious about snowboarding.

….so I'm just asking opinions before I buy something …and ignoring said advice from people who ARE serious about snowboarding!! (and also just kind of just bringing more attention to my thread I linked ) …Yeah, that's kind of lame too after only a day!

Jesus, I step out for 10 minutes, and you've all gotten into the sugar again. :baseballbat:

snowman, you were given some advice (other that wiredsport), and you aren't going to get different advice by rephrasing the question.

Here's your advice:

1. Don't buy boots until you've tried them on, and know that they fit and are comfortable.
2. See #1.
3. Everything else is details, especially if you're a casual rider. You can overthink this, and you are way way way way past that point.
4. If you ignore the advice of the people on the forum, they will rephrase it, with smaller words. Pretty soon BurtonAvenger will show up.

YES that extra $50 will get you better quality gear than that no name bullshit board you linked. And for someone who isn't getting seriously into snowboarding, I'm not sure why you are making multiple threads on the same subject. Either get that cheap, shitty board through ebay, go through wiredsport and get step-by-step help and properly fitted, quality gear for $50 more, OR search the internet and find cheaply priced equipment and put it together piece by piece. Buying boots online (especially used) is just asking for trouble and pain on the slopes - and don't say nobody tried to warn you. I would trust Wired to get you in the right size over the internet, but it's still not a guarantee that they will fit perfect right out of the box without trying them on.

Making multiple threads asking the same question and expecting a different answer isn't helping you. And no one is going to put this setup together for you. Too busy shredding...and the way you are receiving the help you are getting isn't motivating anyone to take time out of their day to search the internet for you.

wiredsport is in my city... i'm gonna get him to put some pepperoni in the box they ship you if you buy from him now :finger1:
Is there significance to Pepperoni that I"m missing, or is it just some random shit to dump in his box you pulled out of the back of your fridge.
Just wonder'in

To make this all complicated, I must verify after the suggestions with the manufacturer if the bindings and boots have no animal products like animal-derived rubber or leather because I'm a vegan, so hopefully they're all synthetic.
