I think this system will do well. I wasn’t able to find a downside in performance and the only negative is a slight increase in price. IMO

Looks like Rome keeps the pivot on the strap while Bataleon loses the kink on FASE?

Blaster will have Kink ladders on the medial side only. They look dope irl.

 

Price tag for Volcom Gutch Gore is skyrocketing as well....at least in Australia 😔

 

I was lucky enough to get a pair of last years Guch Pants for $385 USD this year.

How do you mount your preferred binding angles with the Source FC/Pro bindings without mounting discs?

 

They are compatible w/ 4x2 mounting pattern and have their new "direct connect system" so whatever that is will presumably be how we set angles.

 

The Direct Connect System are those 2 little triangles in the screenshot (bottom right)... still trying to figure out mounting angles from it.

 

I’m thinking the triangles rotate? And that they should point towards the edge. And aligning the point to the edge after twisting them or however you adjust them, “aligns” the frame to that angle.

 

Anyone see anything from YES?

Thanks. I've already seen that photo on this thread. I was hoping to see the screenshots from the catalog for any changes to the Falcor or Atlas etc. thx I'm also surprised the Kazu is based on the Atlas Pro, that's a stiffff binding.

Yet the negative is you can't say ANYTHING negative about Burton, Capita, or Union. And there are a lot more "CORE AS FUCK" it-was-better-when-they-hated-us vibes over there.

 

It's evolved over the years. Nobody's really afraid to say something bad about any brand, those three included when warranted haha. Korua and US probably get the most love.

That could be a really good board, my Natural Selection Tour Hometown is certainly high quality.

They’ve really doubled down on the whole step on thing. Their regular boots haven’t been particularly impressive for awhile.

It's how much negative angle you can get on your front foot and positive on your back. The way they wrote it is weird, but just think of it as -3 to +21 on your front foot and +3 to -21 on your back foot.

 

even so thats still limiting vs whats on the market
