Anyone ridden a party wave?
Tempted to get a 2020 party wave 148 or 151 as a powder board for japan. Very cheap which initially worried me but actually looking at the specs it looks like it could be fun and less of a disaster if it hits a hidden branch/rock compared to boards like the orca which are twice as much $$.
Looks pretty soft but that’s probably ok as my knee is currently recovering from injury so don’t need a board I have to muscle around too much.
Only concern is they are suuuuper wide and wondered if they turn like a large boat. Also not sure they’re powder specific enough and may just be a fun “concept” board to throw around on groomers?
At 175lbs they put me on a 148 but think I’d be more likely to go 151 to ensure i definitely float.
