I have to actually pull the tongue of the liner super hard when I slide my feet in. And every time I feel like I am fighting with my boots. Getting in is a lot hard but getting out is also not a very easy job :)
I am glad I am not crazy and lots of people seem to have similar issues lol.

Yeah I get old people into ski boots so I know the tricks. Warm liners was the one that worked for me. Even room temp might be a little too cold for my foot to slide through. We'll see. Might have to drop my Nidecker liners in till the shell breaks in a bit more. We'll see next time I try to shove my hoof in.

I tried downsizing to a 28. I measure bang on 28.5 on a Brannock and thought the 28.5 were too big. Big mistake.

They are a high volume boot. So make sure to get some thick footbeds or some extra foam to make them fit well.

Just curious. Do you mean 28 is too small?
Also The foam on the liner around the heel area makes it a bit tricky when it comes to aftermarket insoles. It just way more difficult to put them back compared to other brand.

I also do not understand. Whats the meaning of high Volume? That they are big builtet? Or the are for wide feet with high Arches etc...if so the are not for me. I odered however a pair of 28 to rest them

28 was too small and 28.5 was too roomy. The boot tech tried adding some foam to the liner to tighten it up, but it only partly solved the problem.

High volume means it is made for people with larger feet. I have a fairly long and narrow foot. And I do better in lower volume boots.

I just got my pair yesterday. It was really hard to put in my custom insoles but they give fantastic support coming from my motos. I'll heat mold them tonight and report on the fit.

I don't get what people are saying about the top. It fits fine as far as I can tell.

I heat molded them and they feel goooooooood. I'm loving the support on my shins when I push into toe side, my Burton Motos feel like hiking boots by comparison. After heat molding there's no hot spots or pressure points but my feet feel really immobile in there. Getting them on and off sucks but it's not too bad if I do a good job opening the top of the boot up first.

Build quality seems good; I had to re stitch a loose thread on the tongue, no big deal though. It happens. At first glance materials look quite durable. The side boa knob doesn't seem as good as the front but we'll see. The toe lacking a rubber cap to protect from board edges was something I knew about when I bought it but I still like to point out when it's missing... All snowboard boots should have them.

Tongue doesn't seem to stick out for me like others, but putting these on and off I'm noticing there's a few spots you can catch the tongue on the inner laces. I also squeeze the top when I'm cranking the boa.

I'm going to the hill in 2 weeks and I'm debating whether I want to use these or my step ons... Without the kids I can take longer rides but the ions are stiffer. Undecided.

Did 20k vertical feet in these today, using the new union forces I got on clearance a year ago this month.

Response is pretty great, like my Burton Ions, except that I feel like I can really smash my shins into the boots and they hold me up. That was nice during traverses.

My feet kept getting numb but I think I was over tightening the bindings. Towards the end of the day I backed off a click or 2 and felt way better.

Plenty warm, felt soft, no hot spots. It was hard to get them off at the end of the day but really opening the tongue helped a lot.

The boa knobs kept coming loose, I think they were catching on my ski bibs. Minor inconvenience but annoying.

That's pretty much it. I like 'em.

I have Bataleon Acids at home right now and they are pretty easy to put on and off. Just open the BOAs and the liner lacing all the way. For me this is mandatory with any boot.

I'm just not sure about sizing. My feet are 264/266mm and I'm a little stuck between Mondo 26 and 26.5. Both fit well, toe contact is maybe a little to much in the 26, but still not too bad. I will put them on again later, so I can decide which size I'm going for.

What's a little confusing: It says Flex 7 on the inside of the Mondo 26.5 and Flex 6 on the 26. They also feel a little bit softer.
