Hey
So i have a really nice volcom jacket but the pants are battered/beaten up.
Need some new pants for this season...
Question is
A) Bib vs normal pants (they both have "zip tech", so don't know if the bib is actually pointless if i have zip tech which cuts off most of the snow getting in anyway). The plastic buckles on bibs put me off, look like they'd dig in. But they look super flexible compared to pants!
B) Do i need goretex, is 15,000 enough? One bib is gtx (rain bib), one is 15,000 (Roan). If i got normal pants i normally get goretex anyway. Obviously pay more GTX.
I'm heading to both europe and japan this year in them.
A lot of backcountry, a lot of park. I'll sometimes have a whole day outside resort lines digging a kicker with mates in the deep stuff. Hopefully light pow in japan, europe not so much and can rain/be very wet in spring.
If i have ziptech are bibs pointless, if i have 15,000/15,000 pants - would that be any different?
Thanks!
