hey. so for my first board (all mountain) I have been looking at the sierra team and crew. from product descriptions it seems the team may be a bit more beginner friendly. also its softer and being from florida i am out of shape and figure it may be easier to control.
should i choose board length based soley on weight, Im very slim, 6' and 150 lbs, so I have been trying to decide between 153 and 157 for the team. Also as I said leg muscles are weak (talk about tired and sore after first day of riding!) but im sure they will strengthen from a few more days of riding, plus hiking and moutain biking during the off season.
So should I get the 153 or 157 and have some room to grow into it? I hoping for the board to last the 10/11 and 11/12 seasons. or conversely I could use the borrowed board for the rest of the year and see if there are any other boards going on sale this spring? anyways i know its to general and a lot has been covered but really just looking for some advice and stuff as i feel kind of lost and feel it would be a huge mistake to get a board not suited to me.
oh yeah shoe size is 10.5-11, havent bought boots yet.
