Last statistic I read I believe said 55%-45% skiers to boarders but the gap was starting to grow to the skiers side again. That was maybe 2 years ago I read that.

They put up fake mountain watch dummies. It's like when the police park unmaned police cars to prevent speeding. If Keystone did this, the dummie would be naked and picked clean.

I despise no jumping signs as well and agree they should just see who is out of control. Just because you are jumping doesnt make you out of control, being a dumb rookie bitch and trying to catch air and spin 3's on a small clump of snow when you cant even stop is a better description, and even then who really cares as you should be able to avoid these fucks fairly easy: just let people ride dammit! When I was in Durango last season there was a perfect snow covered stump which led to a nice powder drop on the top side of a beginner run that was one of the most fun natural things ive hit, but only had limited attempts because of the ski patrol people making sure you dont jump even if you are the ONLY one on the run. Stupid shit.I bet Keystone's over board mountain safety does nothing to prevent the deaths. In the 7 seasons I have rode this mountain I have seen the traffic fences they put up get more stupid every year. They will put up traffic fences across runs that are suppose to slow people down. All these fences do is bottle neck the runs and force people closer together. Keeping a good distance from people is the best way to avoid a skier collision.
One season they put a fence across Spring Dipper early season on a steep section. It was so dangerous and icy. It was hard to get through there without nearly getting hit from people falling. People started to complain on their facebook page and the mountain removed the dangerous fence.
Last season they put up a bunch of stupid fences in the beginner park.
I hate no jumping signs. Keystone has a lot of them. They will normally have a yellow jacket standing around guarding the roller picking his butt or something. I think mountain watch would be more successful if they cruised around and looked for reckless people.

People do that to let you know you are standing in a terrible spot and you need to move to a safe location to rest.
